materialize/dematerialize

It all surrounds me
                                    as I am
Memories materialize into objects and
                                                objects
that dematerialize memory

I am sick of Satie
Walking his dog as it poops in the grass
Lately I find myself curious about playing chess
                                             about playing life
                                                           and death
I doodle with words
I try to have no meaning

I am an interdisciplinary artist and writer living in Peterborough,
Ontario (Canada). I have published both poetry and critical writing in
various periodicals; including Parachute, On Site Review, and
a·pos·tro·phe. I have also exhibited my artwork internationally.
