it said on the back it was the best
book of contemporary poetry
and that it should make other writers
tremble with fear
and scare
them into non
production
but i couldn’t help but
yawn
as i buried it
back among the other
tombstones of i
mmortals
where it belonged

R.K.Wallace lives between Scotland and Long Beach.
He is studying for his MA in Creative Writing. He
plays the guitar in the streets for a living in
between dead end jobs.
