YVETTE NEPPER Famous Even those who are famous Want to be famous— A line goes on and on and on and on. Losing Everything The middle-class is musical-chair-bound And the “American dream” Is reduced to the sound Of the words coming together— Angry, meaningful. Yvette Nepper lives and writes in the city loves, Cincinnati, OH. She writes all her poems on dollar bills sometimes as a performance, sometimes as a statement (something about the freedom of art and the challenges of currency), sometimes as a gift, but most often as a gimmick. She hasn't published A WHOLE lot, but she has saturated the U.S. currency with many a poem. |
