Forecast - Depression

Initially
a snowy numbness,
things made brighter,
different, new,
all the shit sugared.
But, little by little
the ruts appear,
the churning returns
and things get messy.

And now
it's all storms,
preventing you from walking,
from sleeping;
making you sick
with buzzing static,
electric flashes,
making you wish
you'd taken more
notice of warnings,
stating not to stop
them suddenly..........
