JUSITN HYDE
they put me in special classes mrs bunker's small room for math and reading. i knew i wasn't a feeb. it was just dying dogs, little girls with crippled legs, and the way my father sighed and stared at the walls. i was nine and didn't yet know how to say nothing is worth it and nothing ever will be. so i sat quietly in mrs bunkers room with my hands in my lap and fantasized about crawling into the sewer with dad's exacto knife and doing the thing. Justin Hyde has had stuff published in Thieves Jargon, Zygote in my coffee, Cerebral Catalyst and other on-line and print publications. |
