J.J. CAMPBELL the promised land i've taken one too many detours on the road to the promised land and though i've realized my mistakes they're still mistakes no matter how much i seek forgiveness i've yet to find any the sun has set on my better days creeping closer to my unavoidable slip into the vast void of languishing lament one last bottle one last trip down memory lane soon to be finished off for the final time J.J. Campbell (b.1976 - ?) lives, writes but mostly dies a little each day on a farm in Brookville, Ohio. He's been widely published over the years, most recently at ZYX, Gutter Eloquence Magazine, ART:MAG, Chiron Review and Nerve Cowboy. His first full length collection of poetry is due out later this year from Interior Noise Press.
