of online life wasting,
Facebook- is
hosting Doppelganger Week

You post a photo
as your profile picture
of a famous celebrity
who people say
you look like

I will do no such thing to
contribute to this
pill popping,
depressed population
of low self-esteem earthlings

These stars don’t look like me
They are twenty pounds lighter,
have more muscles and money,
better skin tones-
better everything in fact

But I wield one power
they yearn and crave for-
Obscurity
I bask in
unnoticed freedom

Besides, I simply resemble
a tragic cross between
Steve Carell and
Matt Lauer
Their unfortunate lovechild perhaps
